High & Outside: Fantasy Football Must-Starts (Week 9):
QB: Dak Prescott
Dak and the Cowboys will be a pass-first offense for the weeks to come with Ezekiel Elliot out due to suspension. Look for Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams to also get a bump in points this week against an average Chiefs defense.
RB: Adrian Peterson
AP is hungry for the football and we expect Bruce Arians to feed him against an atrocious Niners defense that couldn’t stop a nosebleed.
WR: Michael Thomas
Thomas is in for a big day against the Bucs this Sunday. Brees will be sure to find his favorite target throughout this game and you can expect Thomas to find the endzone this week after not scoring in his last three games.
TE: Zach Ertz
If you watched Travis Kelce tear apart the Broncos defense on Monday Night then you know exactly why we expect Ertz to follow suit and put up big numbers against a defense that notoriously struggles to cover the tight end.
FLEX: Corey Davis
Corey Davis finally makes his return to the Titans after a long bout with a hamstring injury held him out for the last six weeks. Davis will make an immediate impact on the Titans offense as he will surely see the most targets from Mariota. Watch out for that Baltimore defense though; they shutout the Dolphins last week 40-0.
DEFENSE: Detroit Lions
The Packers are quickly taking a turn for the worse without Aaron Rodgers at the helm and the Lions will take advantage this week.
KICKER: Wil Lutz
Expect the Saints to be in the redzone throughout this game giving way to plenty of field goal opportunities for Lutz.
RISK OF THE WEEK: Christian McCaffrey
He’s strictly a PPR RB and even if you’re in a PPR league McCaffrey carries a big risk factor with him against the Falcons this week.
